So our wedding date came and went. Unfortunately, two weeks before the wedding date, we had to sadly push back the wedding because we had to make an emergency $2000 payment to our lawyer. So wedding funds went out the window. The only thing we lost was that we had already paid for our cake, so we had to pick it up. It was only a half sheet cake from Kroger, so we just ate it LOL We still want to be married before the baby comes in April, so we've moved our wedding date to December 11, 2010. Nowhere near our anniversary, but i'll take it. Stuff happens, right? My pastor from my home church agreed to marry us instead of going to the courthouse like we planned. Now let's hope he will be nice enough to travel to Houston to do it!So, as it sits, we have to book the photographer (we decided against one before) if we're going to have one, my dress is ALL ready to go, assuming I don't start to show baby bump between now and December, we've decided to order food trays from Chick-Fil-A, which include cool chicken wraps tray, chicken salad sandwhich tray, chicken nugget tray, chicken strip tray, fruit tray, cheesecake tray, and furnish drinks/juice and the wedding cake. The biggest thing is, we want to have the wedding and reception down here in Houston, and we can't find anywhere to do it, since Fountain Court Weddings in Pasadena closed down a week ago. I was thinking of having it in one of the parks in League City, if it's not too cold out, but that still leaves a reception site to be desired. Hmm. My dress fits wonderfully and the shoes that I had dyed Blush Pink from David's Bridal came out awesome. I'll have to post pics soon.
